Three Rivers College recently established the Gary Hoover Trust Scholarship with the support of Vicky Hoover.
“My husband and I both believe that people should have an opportunity to receive an education,” Vicky Hoover said. “We also believe that education doesn’t always have to be the traditional four-year degree.”
The Gary Hoover Trust Scholarship will be awarded by the Endowment Trust Scholarship Committee.
Those interested in Planned Giving can name Three Rivers as a beneficiary. When drafting your will, name the Three Rivers Endowment Trust as a beneficiary of retirement plan accounts. If distributed to heirs, assets in qualified retirement plan accounts are subject to income tax. If the Three Rivers Endowment Trust is the beneficiary, the gift passes to the College free of taxes.
For more information about planned giving and how to leave a legacy that will benefit Three Rivers College students in years to come, contact Three Rivers College Executive Director of the Endowment Trust Michelle Reynolds at michellereynolds@trcc.edu or 573-840-9077.
Three Rivers students receive more than $13 million in financial aid each year, and all students are automatically considered for more than 280 scholarships by completing the application for admission and submitting their FAFSA. For more information, trcc.edu/pay-for-college/financial-aid/.
