Three Rivers College student services advisors will be hosting a seminar on Financing Your Education at 2 p.m. September 22 in the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, room 108, located on the Three Rivers Poplar Bluff campus. The seminar will also be broadcast online via Zoom.

The session will cover how to find additional money for your education, tips for setting up your FSA ID, information on completing the FAFSA, how changes in your family’s financial situation can alter your eligibility, the best budgeting practices, and where to find the best job opportunities.

Three Rivers will be hosting two additional seminars this semester: Resources for Students in October and Surviving College and Preparing for Finals in November.

For each seminar that students attend, they will be given up to a $50 scholarship—meaning students can earn up to $150 in scholarship money just for attending all three seminars. The names of attendees will also be placed in a drawing for $25 gas cards (25 cards total) for each seminar attended.
