Three Rivers College Patrons of the Arts and the Rodgers Theatre have partnered to present Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, an award-winning progressive bluegrass/gospel ensemble. The group will perform at 7 p.m. November 3 at the Rodgers Theatre. Lawson is an International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame inductee, and the band is known for their excellent blend of musicianship and harmonies. The event is sponsored by Fox Radio; Poplar Bluff Realty, Inc.; and First Midwest Bank.
“We’re pleased to partner with the historic Rodgers Theatre to bring a group of this caliber to our community,” said Robert Abney, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center. “This promises to be a night of great music that fans of both bluegrass and gospel will love. As always, we have been able to keep the ticket prices much lower than they would be in a larger market.”
Tickets are $15 each and are available online at trcc.edu/tinnin and in person at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce and the Three Rivers Student Accounts Office. Tickets will be sold at the door, if any remain.
