Three Rivers College Patrons of the Arts and the Rodgers Theatre have partnered to present “The Issacs,” a Grammy nominated family gospel group. “The Isaacs” blend a tight harmony with influences of country, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, and southern gospel. The performance is 7 p.m. December 3. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at rodgerstheatre.org.
“The Isaacs” are based out of Hendersonville, Tenn., and began singing 35 years ago. The vocalists are mother Lily Isaacs, and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. Playing their own acoustic instruments and joined by other band members, “The Isaacs” have a unique style that blends tight family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to various audiences.
