Constitution Day is this Friday, September 17, and Three Rivers College will be celebrating on the Three Rivers College Poplar Bluff campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a line up guest speakers talking about the amendments in the Bill of Rights.
The lineup of speakers and topics for “The Bill of Rights and You” is as follows:
- 9 a.m.: Mark Richardson, 10th amendment
- 10 a.m.: Shawn Westbrooks, 2nd amendment
- 11 a.m.: Judge Wade Pierce, 6th amendment
- 11:30 a.m.: Judge John Bloodworth, 5th amendment
- 11:45 a.m.: Todd Richardson, 9th amendment
- 12 p.m.: Dr. John LaDue, 1st amendment
The Three Rivers faculty who arranged this event, Dr. Ryan Bixby and Judy Davis, will also be speaking.
