The Three Rivers College Art Department is sponsoring the Enchanted Birdhouses Fundraiser with proceeds to benefit the Three Rivers Trail Project. The trail project is a proposed interactive sculpture nature trail on the TRC campus.
The birdhouses, created and donated by area artists, TRC students, and community members, will be on display April 10-27 from 12-3 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the Tinnin Gallery on the campus of Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. Admission is free.
A workshop will be held from 2-3 p.m. on April 3 in the Tinnin Fine Arts Studio for those who want to enter a birdhouse in the show. The cost for the kit is $10 (which can be purchased at the workshop).
Birdhouses will be sold for $15 each April 10-27 during normal Gallery hours. The final sale will be 5-6 p.m. April 27, when the price will be reduced to $10, and then $5 for the last 30 minutes of the evening. All birdhouses will remain on display in the Gallery until 5:30 p.m. April 27, when they will be available for pick up.
