Nichole Lathem, a Three Rivers College student, has been awarded the Leonard Query Memorial Scholarship administered by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.

Lathem, a 2003 graduate of Dexter High School, is pursuing an associate degree in Business Management. She resides in Poplar Bluff with her husband, Chris. She is the daughter of Kimmie Hendrix of Poplar Bluff and Stanley and Sandra Hendrix of Dexter.

The Leonard Query scholarship is geared toward an in-district sophomore in the field of marketing and sales. It was established in Query’s memory after he died in an automobile accident. He was the sales director of National Union Agency of Poplar Bluff.

This scholarship represents some of the more than $60,000 awarded to students this fall by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College.
