Two students currently enrolled at Three Rivers College have been awarded funds from the William and Martha Mallard Scholarship Fund, administered by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.
A 2017 graduate of Neelyville R-4 School District, Lauren Crossen is the daughter of Lacey San Miguel of Poplar Bluff and Mark Crossen of Neelyville. She is pursuing an associate degree in Biological Sciences.
Debra Hillis is a 2018 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. The daughter of Angela and Frank Hillis of Poplar Bluff, she is pursuing an associate degree in Biology.
The scholarship was established by William and Martha Mallard for full-time students seeking a degree in math or science.
These scholarships represent some of the more than $60,000 awarded to students this fall by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College.
