The Three Rivers College Behavioral Health Support Program will honor its Practicum Supervisor of the Year on May 5 following special presentations of proclamations to help end stigma against mental health.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is a time to focus on ending mental health stigma. Mayor of Poplar Bluff Shane Cornman is scheduled to present a signed proclamation destigmatizing mental health for the community of Poplar Bluff.

Three Rivers President Dr. Wesley Payne is scheduled to present a proclamation declaring Three Rivers College and its external locations to be stigma free campuses.

The Three Rivers College Behavioral Health Support Program helps provide students with the skills needed for an in-demand career in the behavioral and mental health fields.
