Frazier-Moore was elected as the new chair at the annual meeting held in June. Her term begins July 1. Frazier-Moore is VP/Mortgage Sales Manager at the Bank of Missouri and resides in Poplar Bluff with her husband, Clayton, and children, Jackson and Mackenzie.
“As a proud alumnus of Three Rivers College, I’m honored to not only serve on the Endowment Trust Board but also lead it as the chair for the next year,” said Frazier-Moore. “I have experienced first-hand the success that a degree from Three Rivers can lead to, and I want to help the College continue to thrive.”
A native of Eminence, Frazier-Moore attended Three Rivers College on a volleyball scholarship, graduating with her associate degree in 1998. From there, she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Southeast Missouri State University. Earlier this year, she was named the College’s first-ever Alumni Star.
Her civic involvement includes being a member of, and past conference chair and president of, Women Aware in Poplar Bluff; Founder of Chi and Co. that was created to help young girls in junior high reach their full potential; a board member and officer of the Three Rivers Endowment Trust; past board member and former president of the Rodgers Theatre, Inc.; active member of the Greater Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce; former member and past president of Beta Sigma Phi; and former board member of Bluff City BNI.
“I’m excited to have Christy at the helm for the next year,” said Michelle Reynolds, Director of Development at Three Rivers College and Executive Director of the Endowment Trust. “She is hard working and passionate about everything she does.”
The Three Rivers Endowment Trust formed in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, designated by Three Rivers College to receive and manage gifts on behalf of the College. It acts as a trustee for donations to assure that gifts are distributed in the manner specified by the donor.
Allen Brooks of Poplar Bluff preceded Frazier-Moore as chairman. Other officers for the upcoming year are secretary Matt Funke of Poplar Bluff and David Lynn of Kennett as treasurer.
