“Three Rivers is proud to have Alissa as one of our exemplary students,” said Three Rivers President Dr. Wesley Payne. “She was one of 2,400 students in the nation to apply for 50 gold, 50 silver, and 50 bronze scholarship, and to be selected is an incredible honor.”
Redding, of Bernie, Missouri, graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 2020 and after Three Rivers, intends to transfer to Murray State to pursue graphic design.
Students are nominated by their college administrators and selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, and engagement in college and community service.
Coca-Cola Academic Team members will be recognized in both local and statewide ceremonies and will also be recognized internationally during Phi Theta Kappa honor society’s annual convention.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports more than 1,400 students each year and awards $3.55 million in scholarships annually through three nationally recognized programs.
