Join Three Rivers College students, faculty, and staff, as well as great community poets for a Poetry Slam at 6 p.m. April 21 in room 108 of the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, as part of its Liberal Arts Week.

Three Rivers will have four events celebrating Liberal Arts Week, featuring this year’s theme, “Egypt.” All events will be held in room 108 of the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center.

In addition to the Poetry Slam, Dr. Rebecca Carnes and Michelle Fisher will present an honors lecture titled “Standing on the Shoulders of Indigeneity: Cultural Exchange at TRC” at noon April 20.

Mark Sanders will present an author lecture titled “Completing the Trilogy: Siannon’s Promise and the future of the Llanfyllin Kingdom” at noon April 21.

Dr. Ryan Bixby will present a history lecture titled “Egyptian Pyramids: Recent Archaeological Discoveries and the Controversy over Ownership of Egyptian Antiquities” at noon April 22.
