Tickets are now on sale for Three Rivers College’s second annual “Day at the Ballpark” event, sponsored by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust. The event will be held at the Cardinals baseball game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on July 29, at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $25 for regular seating. Limited quantities of tickets in the luxury box also remain. Luxury box tickets include food and drink, and are $250 each.
“If there’s one thing we all have in common in Southeast Missouri, it’s a love of the St. Louis Cardinals, and a love of baseball,” said Michelle Reynolds, Director of Development for Three Rivers College. “Three Rivers and the Endowment Trust wanted to give this opportunity for members of our community to come together, have fun, and celebrate Three Rivers College.”
Regular tickets are for reserved seating sections 128B-130B. The Three Rivers College Choir will sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch. Bus transportation to Busch Stadium will be available for $15 per person, and will leave from the Bess Activity Center on Three Rivers College’s Poplar Bluff Campus.
The game also features a promotion by the St. Louis Cardinals, where 30,000 fans ages 16 and over will go home with a replica 1919 Cardinals jersey. After the game will be a special fireworks display, with the St. Louis Arch as a backdrop. All promotions and event dates are subject to change.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Three Rivers Endowment Trust Annual Fund, which helps make a difference in the lives of Three Rivers College students in Southeast Missouri.
