All classes must be paid for prior to attending. To pay over the phone, please call the Student Accounts Office at 573-840-9662. To pay in person, please visit the Student Accounts Office in Poplar Bluff, located in Suite 105 on the first floor of the Westover Administration Building.

Basic Life Support
BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) 4 contact hours. $50

HeartCode BLS Skills checkoffs
BLS skills check-off is a lab component to complete the HeartCode BLS Certification for American Heart Association. The skills check-off is to demonstrate the correct performance of BLS CPR. $20
The Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches infant CPR, choking, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), adult basic first aid for medical, environmental, and traumatic emergencies. $75

Safe Sitter Courses
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate babysitting preparation program designed for boys and girls ages 11 to 13. This national program teaches sitters: How to have fun with children How to recognize a medical emergency and know the appropriate action to take Tips for handling specific ages Injury prevention Safety for the sitter and the children Rescue breathing Care of the choking child CPR The business of babysitting the curriculum was updated in 2012 to include CPR, “Online Safety” and social media.
