Step into the heart of hands-on agriculture at the 100-acre Three Rivers Farm—home to the TRC Rodeo Team and a fully operational agricultural learning center. The far
m features a 42-stall barn, outdoor lighted arena, state-of-the-art livestock handling systems, a rotational grazing setup, and a student-managed beef cattle operation. Here, you’ll gain real-world experience by actively participating in daily farm management and livestock care. The addition of the new Farm Credit Southeast Missouri classroom at the college farm will further enhance learning opportunities, providing students with an even more comprehensive, hands-on agricultural education.
On the Poplar Bluff campus, our brand-new, high-tech Greenhouse lab offers cutting-edge tools in plant science and sustainable growing techniques, preparing you for the evolving challenges of modern agriculture.
From crops to cattle, both facilities provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences that equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the agriculture industry.
Instructor
Mrs. Kathryn Clark is an experienced agricultural educator and program coordinator with a strong foundation in both classroom instruction and hands-on industry application. Currently serving as the Agriculture and Forestry Instructor and Program Coordinator at Three Rivers College, she leads dynamic, career-focused academic programs that prepare students for success in the agricultural and natural resource industries. Her professional background includes more than a decade of t
eaching agriculture and mentoring FFA chapters at the secondary level, along with managing school-based greenhouses and shop facilities.
Raised in a multigenerational row crop farming family, Kathryn brings firsthand experience in cultivating rice, soybeans, corn, and sweet corn—instilling in her a deep understanding of the industry’s challenges and opportunities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education from Missouri State University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Southeast Missouri State University.
