Transfer Pathway to Associate of SciencePre-Optometry

Transfer. The AS in Pre-Optometry is designed so that students in our service area can take the basic pre-optometry requirements through Three Rivers College. Students would then transfer to the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) to complete their undergraduate requirements prior to taking the Optometry Admission Test (OAT) and admission into the Doctor of Optometry degree program at UMSL College of Optometry. The OAT consists of four tests: Survey of the Life Sciences (Biology, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry), Reading Comprehension, Physics, and Quantitative Reasoning.
