Area farmers, ranchers, ag industry businesses, homesteaders, and more, we hope you’ll join us for the new and improved Ag Connect (formerly Ag Expo). We created this event using feedback we received on the educational needs and wants of our local agriculture industry.
There will be beneficial information and workshops for all facets of agriculture found in Southeast Missouri and Northwest Arkansas—row crop, livestock, forestry, ag business side, and more.
This event is brought to you by Three Rivers College and the University of Missouri Butler County Extension Office.
Friday will be focused on the agriculture industry with workshops and vendors throughout the day, ending with a nice social sponsored by Farm Credit of Southeast Mo. Friday’s conference will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the social hour starting at 5 p.m.
Many local FFA chapters will be attending Friday for the tractor driving contest, Ag trivia bowl, workshops, and vendor booths.
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be fun activities for kids including a petting zoo, along with workshop classes like homesteading. We will end the evening with a ticketed Salute to Ag Dinner. Dinner starts with a Farm Credit sponsored social hour at 5, Dinner at 5:30. Dinner entertainment will be an ag industry Q&A session, silent auction to support local Ag Clubs, and Awards.
Tickets are $5 per day, or $60 for both days of the conference and the Salute to Ag dinner.
Proceeds from this event will benefit our local Agriculture clubs: 4H, FFA, and TRC Aggies, and our Butler County Extension Council.
