Get ready for an unforgettable night filled with suspense, laughter, and a touch of chaos! Join us for “Honeymoon from Hell” by Eileen Moushey—a thrilling murder mystery experience on Saturday, November 2, at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in Poplar Bluff.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the buffet-style dinner prepared by Castello’s beginning at 6 p.m., and the performance starting at 7 p.m. Cruise ship attire is suggested, but not required.
All proceeds benefit scholarships for Three Rivers College students. So bring your friends, solve the mystery, and help us make a difference for TRC students!
The night will also feature:
- A bourbon and wine pull for a chance to win great bottles.
- A silent auction with fantastic items up for grabs.
- Karaoke (all singers welcome!) to keep the fun going.
Tickets are $50 each, and tables of 8 are $400. You can purchase commemorative wine glasses for $20 each, which includes unlimited pours of house wines during the event. Sponsorships are also available! Priority deadline is October 25, or until sold out.

About “Honeymoon from Hell” by Eileen Moushey
Anything that CAN go wrong, HAS gone wrong aboard the S.S. Amore, a not-so-luxurious honeymoon cruise ship. Captain Giovanni Della Robbia is trying to calm the passengers, with the assistance of the cruise director, Gina. It’s talent night aboard the Amore and Gina recruits
passengers to join in the competition. Just when it looks like the cruise won’t be a total disaster, the Captain is murdered. Suspects include honeymooners, the crew, and Chef Fredo—whose temperament is matched by the large knife he wields.

About the Director
Suzy Abney has lived in Poplar Bluff, Mo. for 27 years. She has directed several Center Stage shows, including; Once Upon a Mattress, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, and Disney’s Mary Poppins. She was the Musical Director for Grease and has acted in several shows. She has given private voice and beginner piano lessons and is currently teaching music for the Twin Rivers School District.
