Come out for a fun night of bingo with a musical twist on Friday, September 8, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the lobby of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center! This event is free for students—just bring your student ID—and the cost is $10 for faculty, staff, and the general public. The food truck, Everything Rolls, will be there for anyone who would like to purchase snacks. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee will provide water and snacks for the tables.

There will be three rounds of bingo with prizes at the end of each round, courtesy of Missouri Highlands Healthcare and FCC Behavioral Health. Rounds one and two will be traditional bingo, any diagonal angle. Round three will be the grand prize round where players will need to cover their cards to win! Round three will also be the music round with tunes from all genres and eras of music. Devin Barnes is volunteering his DJ services for the evening.

In addition to the fun, this event will focus on promoting suicide prevention with a special focus on college student mental health. There will be free materials available at the event.

47% of college students have reported experiencing suicidal thoughts throughout their lifetime and a reported 25% struggle with active suicidal ideation.
