The Behavioral Health Support Program will be announcing its Practicum Supervisor of the Year at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5 in the boardroom of the Westover Administration building.
In addition, Shane Cornman, Mayor of Poplar Bluff is scheduled to present a signed proclamation destigmatizing mental health for the Community of Poplar Bluff, and Dr. Wesley Payne, President of Three Rivers College, is scheduled to present a proclamation declaring Three Rivers College and its external locations to be stigma free campuses.
We also have a table of mental health information and resources available for free in the Welcome Center.
This is all part of our activities for May – Mental Health Awareness Month. Please join us this month and every month as we work toward ending mental health stigma in our community.
