Mission Statement

The Student Ambassador Program is committed to promoting Three Rivers College to current students, prospective students, parents, counselors, and to the community at large. We are dedicated to excellent customer service for our prospective and current students and college affiliates. We exhibit enthusiasm about college and continuing education. We collaborate as a team with each other, the Office of Enrollment Services, and Three Rivers College as a whole.

What Does a Student Ambassador Do?

  • Welcome and greet the public at Three Rivers College
  • Develop an expanded knowledge of TRC
  • Conduct campus tours for prospective students and at events
  • Represent Three Rivers during college events
  • Assist with duties and tasks related to events put on by various College departments
  • Work with diverse populations and provide tips on being a successful student
  • Assist with variety of office related tasks
  • Attend bi-weekly staff meetings and required trainings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications to Become a Student Ambassador

  • Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per fall and spring semesters
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and earn a minimum of a 2.0 semester GPA
  • Must complete 100 service hours per semester
  • Be available for evening hours and some weekend events
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Have the ability to arrive on time to all Student Ambassador commitments
  • Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, and discipline
  • Display Three Rivers spirit and enthusiasm
