Three Rivers is celebrating EMS Week by “Rising to the Challenge.”
TRC’s “Rising to the Challenge” event is 1-4 p.m. May 19, in the Crisp Technology Center parking lot on the Poplar Bluff campus.
The event will honor emergency responders and provide information, demonstrations, and simulations for people interested in those fields. Emergency Responders and the general public are all invited. There will be door prizes, food, fire demonstrations, and more.
Attendees will have an opportunity to try out the College’s driving, shooting, and patient simulators at the recently renovated Crisp Technology Center. They will also get a chance to learn about careers in EMS, Police and Fire.
Many agencies are participating in the celebration, including Butler County Sheriff, Poplar Bluff Police, Sikeston SWAT, Sikeston DPS, SEMO Bomb Squad, Ambulance services, and Missouri Highway Patrol.
