In this course, concepts are covered that assist students to transition into their role as professional nurses. The focus is placed on leadership and recognizing the nurse’s role in improving quality processes that affect patient outcomes in the healthcare system. The course also prepares the student for success on the NCLEX-RN examination. At the completion of this course, the student will participate in a live NCLEX-RN review session. Lecture 4 hours per week.
