Three Rivers College Music Department presents Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka

For its annual family-friendly musical, the Three Rivers College Music Department is performing Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka at 7 p.m. May 3-4 and 2 p.m. May 5 in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the Three Rivers College Poplar Bluff Campus.

The Swingsations, Three Rivers’ premiere student vocal ensemble, will bring to life Charlie’s delicious adventure to a mysterious chocolate factory.

“The members of Swingsations have been working quite hard all semester, including Tuesday evenings, to fine tune their performance,” said William White, Professor of Music at Three Rivers. “Willy Wonka is going be a wonderful show that the whole family will thoroughly enjoy.”

Tickets are $10, $5 with any school ID, and free for children ages 5 and younger. Tickets are available in advance at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce and the Three Rivers Student Accounts Office. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
