AAS Agribusiness

Jumpstart Your Career with an AAS in Agribusiness!
Ready to turn your passion for agriculture into a profession? The Associate of Applied Science in Agribusiness at Three Rivers College is designed for students who want to head straight into the workforce and make an impact in the ag industry.

Gain real-world experience at our 100-acre livestock farm and high-tech Greenhouse lab, where you’ll build hands-on skills in livestock care, crop production, and farm management. Our career-focused curriculum blends practical training with in-demand knowledge in business operations, marketing, ag economics, and supply chain logistics—preparing you to step confidently into a variety of ag careers.

Whether you’re managing a herd, operating machinery, or working with ag finance and sales, you’ll be equipped with the tools and training you need to succeed. With small class sizes, one-on-one faculty support, and a strong focus on workforce readiness, Three Rivers is your launchpad to a rewarding future in agribusiness.

Program Purpose

Career & Technical Education. This program is for students who want to develop management and technical skills to enter agriculture-related industry or production.

Program Outcomes

  • Demonstrate an applied understanding of the principles of plant, animal, and soil science.
  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills in relation to decision making in agribusiness industry.
  • Evaluate and apply sound business practices to diverse agribusiness pursuits.
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication to effectively work with agriculture professionals and stakeholders.

Ag Facilities

The 100-acre Three Rivers Farm houses our TRC Rodeo team, which won a national championship in bull riding in 2022. The Farm is equipped with a 42-stall barn, outdoor lighted arena, state-of-the-art livestock working facility, rotational grazing system, and much more! The Sikeston location includes a row crop lab. Both facilities offer hands-on learning opportunities so students can practice the skills that are needed to excel in the agriculture industry.

Join the Aggies Club

The Aggies Club is involved in campus, community, and industry activities. The club presents opportunities to help students network, grow as individuals, and provides hands-on experiences.
